AKASNM
What are the cheapest ways? Satsts in my siggy I'm doing trees to 65 farming, is there a faster way?
Kellis
Cheapest smithing method would be to gather everything yourself. Iron ores -> iron bars w/ Ring of Forging -> iron knives with Stealing Creation hammer for profit.

ladycai
Superheating mith ores will yield mage xp as well as smithing; you can break even (or close to). 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

ufosssssssss
I'd say mine iron-mithril, smelt, smith into knives then sell and repeat. I'm not sure about Herblore.
GibberEsh
Make mith bolts at blast furnace, you'll make a profit and earn some easy fletching exp too. EDIT: Well, you need to get 1 more smithing level somehow because without 60, blast furnace is a waste.
jade_slayer6
Blast furnace is great for some smithing experience. But if you can't make mithril bolts then you might want to try and get coal from manage thy kingdom and mine your own iron then make steel platebodies and preferably alch them for a decent profit. And for herblore, the cheapest way to do anything herblore related is to grow your own herbs and then mix your pots and then make a reasonable profit. \
