I'm soloing and using Void with Range, and was wondering if it's worth bringing my Dragonfire Shield or not. What are the differences? Should I stick with the normal shield or bring the other one? Hegel Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 Magic prayer doesn't help at all. You should be ranging it at melee range with protect from melee on, so the KBD hits you less with the dragon breaths. Since you'll be only be hit by the breaths, melee defence is unnecessary, and hence the anti-fire shield works better (as it doesn't adversely affect ranging unlike it's more expensive counterpart).
