I haven't played RuneScape in over a year and I'm considering playing a bit for a while. Runecrafting nature runes was to be my main source of income before I quit. Some general information:

 

 

 

• [*:3vacnyx6]I am 93 runecrafting.
   
  [*:3vacnyx6]I will be rebuying membership (as I'm sure you've guessed).
   
  [*:3vacnyx6]My summoning, which I've heard can be used for runecrafting, is like level 10 or less. If raising my level would benefit my runecrafting, please suggest the appropriate level to level to and the most efficient way to do so.

 

 

 

My questions to you are:

 

 

 

• [*:3vacnyx6]Is runecrafting still a good source of income? Is the best/fastest way to make money still with nature runes through the abyss? If not, what has changed?
   
  [*:3vacnyx6]What is the fastest way to level runecrafting SOLO (with no runners)? What rune is the best to craft and what is the best way to craft that rune?

get lvl 57 summoning

Runecrafting is still a nice profit. Using a graahk summon to teleport to the nature ruins is actually faster at high levels than going through the abyss, I believe. However, with nature prices dropping they aren't as good of a profit as they used to be.

 

 

 

This means that you ought to up your summoning level. Go to the AoW and look up Kent's Guide to Summoning Mastery (that's the title), as it's a great way to quickly level it. Be prepared to spend some money for it, however, as it's a money sink. If you don't want to waste time/money training, go with the Abyss as it's still quite fast.

57 summoning for Spirit graahk has unlimited teleports to near the the nature alter.

Well non solo is w 16 airs and solo would be crafting blood runes in the abyss i believe

This is absolutely correct. Try searching the RSOF for Mega Runecrafting Guide 3. That will have all the info you could want. Welcome back Tripsis. :)

You could burst rock lobsters http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aT18mBfZ7g or kill waterfiends

for charms fast (bursting is 200 or so crimson per hour, I bursted\barraged to 92) for charms. As mentioned above, http://forum.[Please Use QuickFind Code].ws?98,99,49,56533177 has every bit of information on how to craft with all of the methods like ZMI, with detailed analysis.

 

 

 

And graahk is really worth it, it's FAR faster then abyss. I would really recommend getting the summoning levels before crafting nats, it's really easy to level.

 

 

 

It still feels weird, I remember reading your posts as a clueless level 50 with a sub-800 total level long, long ago..

Welcome back Tripsis. Runecrafting is still a pretty nice way to make money, but the methods have changed. AS said before, the Graahk is the absolute fastest way to solo run natures. Other Summons you may want to consider are

 

Abyssal Parasite-hold rune essence for you

 

Spirit Terrorbird- Can hold food for you while you run the abyss, and restores run energy which is very effective to run thousands of runes at a time.
