Hey Everyone, I am Sindarin00. I have not had an idea for a suggestion before, so this is my first one. Please obey the Forum Rules and no Flaming or Spamming. Only Constructive comments please.

1.2 Purpose of Shelters

[hide=]The purpose of these shelters is a place to hide for you to fight monsters without getting hurt for the specified period of time. There will be places you cannot use the shelters, and that will be gone over later. You assemble your shelter in your Player Owned House (POH) and then when you are ready to use it, put it up similar to a cannon. The shelter will have 4 legs, and 1 cover, and will take up 3 inventory spots. To put the shelter up, you have to use the legs on each other, and then put that on the ground. You then use the cover on the legs and then crawl inside the shelter. Now to make them not too overpowering, I have put a specific Damage to be done to it before it falls down. The NPC that you are attacking can attack your shelter if they so wish, but it is up to them. They will also last for the specified time interval before falling down.[/hide]

1.3 Places you CANNOT use shelters

[hide=]King Black Dragon Lair

Kalphite Queen Lair

Daggonoth Boss Lair

Mole Lair

Corporal Beast Lair

Chaos Elemental Fighting

God Wars Dungeon

Steel/Iron/Bronze/Mith/Brutal Green/Green/Blue/Red/Black Dragons

Chaos Tunnels

Fight Caves

Player Vs Player

Cities (Varrock, Ardougne, Lumbridge, Catherby, Camelot, Seers)

Within 25 spaces of another Shelter[/hide]

I am aware that there are some other places that will come up as places you should be unable to use your shelter, and alas, I will add them if they come up. I think shelters would be a great idea, especially the level 99 ones, when it comes to the wild dogs under brimhaven.

I am not sure of what else to add to my idea, but if anyone has any ideas or supports this, please post.

1.3 Thanks

Thanks

wait, what does this help me achieve?

Portable safespot I'm assuming?

If that's the case, when Pets accidentally acted as barriers to create a portable safespot, Jagex treated it as a bug (which it was) and removed it.

Yeah it is basically a portable safespot.

Yeah it is basically a portable safespot.

Then can I be honest? I think for that purpose only, this isn't a good idea (esp. due to reason I gave above). It has terrific basis, so if you could think of other uses for it, this has large potential.

For example, what if you could build such "shelters" at designated hotspots around RuneScape, and you could store things such as food, potions, and runes there? What if you could have your own little "base" at each hotspot?

I support this. Someone was saying how it would be better if it had other uses, well, maybe it could regenerate your HP faster when damaged, and restore your run energy. Heck, maybe even use it as a portable deposit box/note maker...

Let me explain. The level 1-3 shelters could regenerate your health and run energy 25% faster, the level 4-6 could regenerate 50% faster, level 7 and 8 shelters could regenerate 75% faster and level 9 shelters could regenerate at double speed.

Now about the portable deposit box, you could deposit one item every few minutes. (Obviously, the time could decrease with higher level shelters) For the note maker, every few minutes you could turn 1 item into its noted form.

Viola, I'm all out of ideas.

I hope this all makes sense.
