Anything from normal planks until you can use oak planks, make best thing from oak planks (best = uses most planks) to 33, oak larders 33-47. Use noted planks on your servant to get him/her to unnote them, and have him unnote more planks while you build larders/whatever. Bring saw/hammer/noted planks/money.

Lv 30 butler 16, lv 40 butler 20 at a time. Cost for oak planks + payment is around 7-8 gp/xp, so around 500-600k I'd say.
