Evil Dave probably loves 'em but I don't. I've got 70 agility and been using agility pots and after a half hour of failing, once just two spots away, I'm taking a short break and grabbing something to eat. In the meantime, anyone know if your weight or energy level has any effect? I've searched the forums and found that while I'm not alone in despising this particular spot, people have made it with 15 fewer levels in agility so I gotta be missing something else.

Either that or Jagex is truly evil in which case I'll be buying a plane ticket and introducing a frying pan to some developers faces!

Sadly, nothing you can do but keep on trying. Hopefully, you're using a bull ant or oogloog pools and protecting melee from the shadow things. Doubt weight has anything to do with it so you just gotta keep trying. Think you have to go there couple times too lol, can't remember.

I don't have data from other players to back this up, but I think energy makes a difference. I made it across on my first try and then the second time I had to cross it took me just a few tries. On my last try I boosted my energy up to 100% using the explorer's ring and made it across. So, either having full energy helps you to get across or I just got insanely lucky. ::'

Thanks for the tips. Dinner was good so my aggravation is down, that should help a bit at least. Time to try, try, try, try again.

I'm almost positive that it's run energy rather than agility that's causing you the problems because when I boosted to unlimited run energy with the Oo'glog pools, I had no problems making it across and I had 60 agility. That would probably help if you keep falling...take a dip in all the pools (just for good measure) and make the salt-spring pool the last one you try, then get out and tele to ardougne...use the bank, gear up and head down and try that part ASAP.

My "evidence" is that I passed easily the first try, but when it wore off and I had to go back across for the last part I kept falling. I got frustrated and left, re-"dipped" and VOILA! I made it across no problem.
