Hi so I am F2P and I have 44 smithing. So currently I am smithing steel bars. I make the best the best thing i can make at each level. I buy my bas at the grand exchange. i was wondering if this is the best method for me. I also want to know the quickest method with good xp. Thanks, All advice is great.

It's certainly one of the better ways out there. Iron is quite unreliable and gold is incredibly costly.

 

 

 

Once you hit 50 smithing, one of the best ways would probably be to superheat mithril bars. Buy all coal, mith ore, and nats and stand there with a fire staff casting away.

291+4*177+232-1222 = 9

 

you'd lose 9g per superheat mith, not too bad
