Navyvet1
Tip.it'ers...Requesting some insight and Guidance on completing the phases of this Quest. OK...I'm in the cave at the part where I need to chop 5 root logs and burn them. I've set 2 fires, but since the distance of the Beast Strikes has increased each time I set a fire, he keeps killing me before I can either chop the 5 logs for the last fire...or when I get the logs, I get killed trying to set them in the firepit and light them. Is there a good strategy to getting the logs? A Good side of the cavern towork on? I get unlimited run from Oo'glog, so no issue there. Food wise, if I start to get hit it is almost impossible to eat without getting hit again, so type of food to take doesn't really matter much. And what of the other 2 parts of the Quest? Capturing the Dark Core - And Blessing the Graves. I'm looking for personal experiences, and what could be a good strategy for making it a bit easier and reducing the number of Death's I will experience (13 now, and counting....Grrrrr) Please do not point me to the Guide. Reading the guide will not help...I am looking for personal experiences from those who are either in the midst of the Quest, or who have finsihed the Quest and can reflect on what they did, and what they could have done to finish easier. Thanks!! :
Dax
Cut, hear attack, run to next logs. Even if you haven't cut any logs. Load up three pyres before lighting any, then go light them one after each other. Can't remember the second one too great, sorry bout that, you need a spade though, I think. On the third, you have to see what attack the spirit beast is charging, and go to that grave and pray at it, the beast will charge either a red, yellow or blue attack, and the three spirits (a ball of either red, yellow or blue energy) will hop between graves, remember where the ones you need to get are. (you only have to pray at one blue, one red and one yellow) Remember to run from the landing spot of the beast's attack, and about two spaces away from it all ways around it. Bring boots of lightness and a spotted/spottier cape to keep down weight, as armour apparently has no effect. Good luck! #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
MaffeDennis
The way i did it was going to the north of the cave where there's 3 roots to cut. Just listen to when its about to attack and keep switching from the left to right root untill you have enough logs. Depending on your wc level tho it might take too long and it will get too close and the attacks will reach you faster so then its probably better to switch too some other roots preferably on the opposite side of the cave. As for putting the logs in the fire pits wait for the beast to attack and put a log in maybe 2. Just try not to rush it and put all of em in.(I tried that too and died) For the second room keep running around in circle's and look for the message to come up that the core has been released and dig a hole in one of those pits and make sure the pit is between you and the core. For the last part wich i found pretty easy tbh just try to follow one spirit at a time and bless the correct grave. I died only once during this quest and that was in the first cave. Id recommend using a ring of life so you can avoid having to get all your items again. Hope this helps.
