January 18, 200917 yr yes. strength bonus only affects the strength style, same with range and magic. as far as I know the accuracy of the strength style is unnaffected by stab, slash and crush bonuses, it is affected only by strength bonus.

If it's crush, it's helped by crush bonus, if it's a stab attack, it's helped by stab bonus. Strength bonus affects every melee attack style. Higher strength bonus = higher hits. If the strength attack option is stab, wear stab bonus, if slash, wear slash bonus, if the attack is crush, wear crush bonus. I know that, but i don't think it has any particular style, I think it just says strength, then again, I havn't used a black salamander since I last went barrows a good year ago.
January 19, 200917 yr Author There is no Stab/Slash/Crush with Black Salamanders. There is just an option to train strength (melee based attack), magic (magic based), and ranged (ranged based). My question is: Higher str/mag/rng bonus = Harder hits? or Higher str/mag/rng bonus = Better accuracy?
January 19, 200917 yr On the magic style your max hit will be 1/4th of your magic level. On the ranged and melee style I believe it's the same, but regardless; ranged bonus will never improve your max hit - just accuracy. Strength bonus will always increase you max hit (except maybe with salamander).
