im very curious about one thing. so barbarian fishing requires a lot higher level than non barbarian counter part, does that mean it is fished at a slower rate?

for example, at level 76 i can do shark, but at level 96 i can do shark without harpoon. does that mean rate of fishing shark at 76 = 96?

then in terms of getting resources, is it still better to use the harpoon then?

and this doesnt have to apply to sharks. same with tuna/swordfish?

I don't think so. I think it's the same rate as it would be with a harpoon, you just get STR xp too.

oh, so then what woudl be the incentive to not barb fish then? str xp... more inventory space... same rate.. etc?

i've noticed im fishing sword/tuna slower than if i had used harpoon tho.. duno if im just paranoid or what

Its all in your head, its the same speed with or without a harpoon.

Besides, you can use a barbtailed harpoon instead of a normal one. Doesn't take up space, because you can weild it as a weapon.

Hehe, this is like Jagex telling half of Runescape players that they're [developmentally delayed]. Sort of. That's how I interpreted it. :P

Runescape is why I support abortion.
