January 22, 200917 yr im very curious about one thing. so barbarian fishing requires a lot higher level than non barbarian counter part, does that mean it is fished at a slower rate? for example, at level 76 i can do shark, but at level 96 i can do shark without harpoon. does that mean rate of fishing shark at 76 = 96? then in terms of getting resources, is it still better to use the harpoon then? and this doesnt have to apply to sharks. same with tuna/swordfish?
January 22, 200917 yr I don't think so. I think it's the same rate as it would be with a harpoon, you just get STR xp too.
January 22, 200917 yr Author oh, so then what woudl be the incentive to not barb fish then? str xp... more inventory space... same rate.. etc? i've noticed im fishing sword/tuna slower than if i had used harpoon tho.. duno if im just paranoid or what
January 22, 200917 yr Besides, you can use a barbtailed harpoon instead of a normal one. Doesn't take up space, because you can weild it as a weapon. That's how I interpreted it. :P Runescape is why I support abortion.
