January 23, 200917 yr Would I waste more money using bone bolts or iron arrows with an accumalater (sorry I know it's spelt wrong)? Thread Closed. Thanks everyone.
January 23, 200917 yr You'd waste more on Iron Arrows. It costs more and the MSB fires at a faster rate than the bone crossbow. ^ Refresh for a new signature ^
January 23, 200917 yr An effective way is to use bronze knives and train at either Ogres or Yaks. Yaks can be pretty effective though... and if you're at Ogres the accumulator doesn't pick them up, you have do that that yourself. Yaks it picks up most of them. But if you want to use bone bolts or iron arrows, its your choice ;) July 28, 2009 - 9817 to 99 HunterMarch 14, 2010 - 27,605 to 99 FishingJune 26, 2010 - 2000 Total Levels ReachedAugust 19, 2011 - 26,541 to 99 MiningMarch 29,2012 - 2200 Total Levels ReachedMarch 27, 2013 - All skills 85+
January 23, 200917 yr Author Thanks for the responses guys. So what about iron knifes? are they good? xp/money wasted?
January 23, 200917 yr Iron knives are too expensive, but bronze knives can be hard to get on the GE. I sold about 4k iron knives for like 140k, then bought 8k bronze knives for about 100k. Bronze are definately better. January 23, 200917 yr Thanks for the responses guys. So what about iron knifes? are they good? xp/money wasted? Knives are the fastest way to train ranged with the exception of chimchompas. In terms of cash used up per hour, it'll cost you twice as much as it'll cost you if you use an MSB with iron arrows. However, like the two posters above, I advise using bronze instead of iron knives to cut down on your spending as there is almost no difference between the two. ^ Refresh for a new signature ^
January 23, 200917 yr Author Would I still hit pretty good with them? And would they still be hard to be if bought at max price? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks again though.
January 23, 200917 yr It took me a few hours to get my bronze knives at max price... and it depends on your range level how good you would hit with them. Void would be recommended to hit harder depending on where you're at, such as Yaks and Ogres. I think my max hit was 8 or 9 with 69 range, but haven't power trained since I got 70. January 23, 200917 yr Author Thanks sportsman! Is bronze knifes what you would reccomend? Lol, last question.
January 23, 200917 yr How often you hit is dependent on the monsters you train on. However, if you're talking about the frequency of hits when you compare iron to bronze knives, iron hits (for example) yaks 9 out of 10 times whereas bronze would hit 8-8.5/10 times. Sportsman is right, bronze > iron. ^ Refresh for a new signature ^
January 23, 200917 yr I started ranging when I got my first iron drag task, I went from like 60-70. It took some time, but I did it all with about 11-12k bronze knives. Overall, fairly cheap. Exp was about 25k/hr at Ogres and 30k/hr at Yaks if they're not too crowded. I would definately recommend bronze knives though.
