Firefox Help; Bookmarks Menu

Is there an addon that can stop the bookmarks bar from docking, so it behaves like IE's bookmark toolbar? (ie. just hovering)

I've had a look and cant see anything.

Atm, I'm using myFireFox theme that emulates IE7 so the toolbar doesnt dock, but i'd like to have something that stops the toolbar from docking without this theme in place.

EDIT: Also, is there any add on that causes firefox tabs to behave like chrome's (so you can drag them through windows, give them their separate window etc.)

Also, how would I go about writing my own firefox add ons?

Thanks.

I'm sure there's nothing we could find that you wouldn't also be able to via searching the addons page on the Mozilla site.

As for writing your own addon, you'd need to learn whatever language Firefox uses and learn it to the degree to be able to code it yourself with all the variables you'd need etc.
