kjam3
Hi all, I just recently came back to runescape & I need some updating. Well firstly the old DFS vs Rune Defender. I do quite a bit of slayer & dueling also all melee stats 99. Secondly, which would make more money chopping mages (I am 99 wc) or hunting abyssal demons or blue dragons (I am 70 agility taverly dungeon)? Finally, Bandos armour or barrows & BGS? Seraphyna
Well firstly the old DFS vs Rune Defender. I do quite a bit of slayer & dueling also all melee stats 99. I like the DFS for the defensive and strength bonuses. Secondly, which would make more money chopping mages (I am 99 wc) or hunting abyssal demons or blue dragons (I am 70 agility taverly dungeon)? Abyssal demons are a matter of luck, so they could be great money or not very good money. It all depends on how lucky you get. I wouldn't say chopping mages as even at 99 they're very slow and usually very crowded. Blue dragons would be best because you get bones and hides 100%. So if you bank both you'll make a good amount per kill and there's no luck involved. Finally, Bandos armour or barrows & BGS? For slayer, I like using guthans because sometimes a unicorn is a waste and a bunyip doesn't cut it. That being said, I also find bandos armor to be quite good, though it obviously can't heal you if you're in a tight spot. I'd say use guthans or bandos...depends on whichever you really like better. Barrows has better defence, but bandos has the strength bonus. I'd also take into consideration repair costs. If you have good smithing and an armor stand, barrows really doesn't cost much to fix. As for weapon, I'd recommend the tried and true DFS + whip. I find godswords to be slow and thus not very good xp-wise. I find myself outkilling people with godswords a lot and I always use my DFS + whip.
pureprayer
Hi all, I just recently came back to runescape & I need some updating. Well firstly the old DFS vs Rune Defender Rune Defender Secondly, which would make more money chopping mages (I am 99 wc) or hunting abyssal demons or blue dragons (I am 70 agility taverly dungeon)? If you plant your own mages and have 80 summoning do mages. I would do mages no matter what because its afk-able Finally, Bandos armour or barrows & BGS? Bandos Armour SUCKS its not worth it AT ALL@@@@@@@@@ so get barrows Pureprayer, you're awesome.
ladycai
I always had low attack as compared to my strength, so I preferred rune defender for the extra accuracy. I tried a DFS before, and it's decent if you're a extreme dragon hunter. Abyssal demons are luck; chopping trees are slow; dragons are the best out of what you mentioned. BGS, imo, is too slow. Just stick with bandos armor and a whip. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

Bandos if you are rich, but if you need cash I doubt it Trust the Gene Genie!
