However this probably won't be the last accident at a jamboree, judging from past incidents that were mentioned near the bottom. Glad I was never involved in that stuff. The problem with the gene pool is that there's no lifeguard.
July 26, 200520 yr That's a tragic event :( Never seen an accident like that in the 10 or so years I was in the Scouting movement. The worst stuff was generally a broken bone or something like that due to some kind of random chance. No deaths though. Few lost scouts in the bush... maybe about it :-? --- On an up note, Jamboree's are awesome. If I could've gone to the Jamboree in Chillie a few years back I would've :P Went to the Springfield one though the year or two before :D
