Well I have a Maxtor 6E030L0 DVD burner and you are able to burn DVD's ( obviously ) and CD's. But whenever I try to burn songs onto a CD Windows Media player says I cannot burn it onto the disc. Like the disc is dirty or something, it's weird. But it never did this with my old CD burner.

 

 

 

I also tried using a different burning program. But to no prevail.

 

 

 

So can someone help me out here.

More specific error messages? Exactly which other programs did you try? What were the specific error messages in those programs? Are you able to burn DVDs?

well, what kind of lighter/matches are you using? :lol: i have no clue..
