Just wear dragonhide, range pray, and use pouches.... Is there anything in specific you wanted to know? Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig! Zaaps1
Glory, bearhelm, dhide legs, larupia top, crystal shield, earth staff, penance gloves, spottier cape, and boots of lightness gives more than enough defense while maintaining a weight of about 1kg. If you don't have the gloves switch the dhide legs for larupia legs and pop of RFD gloves. For ZMI, weight takes priority over defense. As for the best method, best thing to do is to Ourania Teleport, bank at the Banker in the Dungeon (bring along the 20k fires you got from slayer, I know you have them :P , or just buy fires for 9gp ea), start out praying melee, once you get hit by the first warrior once swap to range prayer. As you round the corner pray mage, as you finish the run switch to range. ~It's Super Effective! KingJD
ok so I'm going to be running with range prayer on because going past the npc's is a lot quicker? I'm trying to figure out if I should have a spirit terrorbird or a abyssal parasite with me / if theres a summoning recharge place close by.. And is it the range def or pray boosting gear that i should go for... do i really need to pray?
cabbage
Nah dont pray lmfao... The terrorbird basically takes the point out of lightness... so you can wear black d'hide top and bottom, crystal or spirit shield, and that should be enough def, the rest just what they said -.- We should add side skills, such as runecrafting and that would make arenascape addicting! Is He Insane? :wall: ARENAscape Levels: 163 & 162-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------RuneScape Levels: Main Acc(123) - Zerker Pure(87) - Pure Str(50) To Join My Lvl 80+ Clan, Click Here! You have unlimited prayer, so how's it hurting you? Terrorbird does not, because if you use a bird, you'd forfeit 300 extra ess crafted per hour (in other words, another medium sized pouch) because you didn't take an Abyssal Familiar. Always use Abyssal Familiars. It's better to spend 10k on the 7 or so super energies you'll use than to give up something like 4k xp per hour. Don't worry about prayer boosting gear, you have unlimited prayer. I'd recommend praying piety or another defense prayer if you have it, because you can recharge it without delay... ~It's Super Effective! cabbage
Ah yeh, suppose pray would waste too much time -.- And I dont think it's anywhere near 300 ess/hr, remember you have to spend time loading fam, and that's something I forget to do alot :wall: We should add side skills, such as runecrafting and that would make arenascape addicting! Is He Insane? :wall: ARENAscape Levels: 163 & 162-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------RuneScape Levels: Main Acc(123) - Zerker Pure(87) - Pure Str(50) To Join My Lvl 80+ Clan, Click Here! pureprayer
Terrorbird = unlimited run Pureprayer, you're awesome.
Zaaps1
Oh no, it IS 300 ess per hour. Let me put this into perspective, loading the familiar takes 1 extra bank, and after 75 it takes no extra banks, but you craft 7 more ess per run. Since you can easily get 75-85 second runs (let's say 80), or 45 runs per hour, the familiar would give you 315 extra ess crafted. (The 80 second is for all 4 pouches with familiar). Here's a vid link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GE2SVqYDVbQ And Terrorbird DOES NOT give you unlimited run, it gives you unlimited running CAPABILITY. That means to restore run you would need 1 invent space to hold the scrolls. Well with super energies you'd also need 1 invent space, so TB provides no bonuses there. All it's doing is making you craft less ess per hour. Perhaps it is saving you super energy costs? You'll only need 10k of super energies per hour, so the scrolls would only save you about 9k. After level 60, when you begin to profit using ZMI, the 300 extra ess EASILY pay for that cost. Before then, the extra xp still makes it more than worth it to use a Abyssal Familiar. ~It's Super Effective! bedman
Thanks, this was interesting. I wanted to point out that it takes time to load your familiar, which can be annoying at times (it sometiems reappears at the wrong time). However, I forgot I have got 77 rcing now. Gotta love penguins, and WGS rewards (havent crafted since 68 rcing). A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!

Gotta love penguins, and WGS rewards (havent crafted since 68 rcing). That time is very minimal, and as I said it takes no extra banking after the Giant Pouch. But if you just switch over to it, you'll need to allow yourself to adjust to it, just keep reminding yourself to load the familiar. ~It's Super Effective!
