How come people use protect from melee if any weapon can hit thru it? Specifically in pvp worlds when people kill someone and protect melee against pjers.

protection prayers dont work 100% against players.

Actually yes, it is 50% so say normally if someone would hit a 10 on you, if you used the respective prayer they would only hit a 5

Finally on here to update that I have officially quit! It's been fun.

Why is it that my protection Prayers do not always work against another player?

 

 

 

The protection Prayers will always work against monsters. The Prayers do work against other players, but it will reduce the damage you receive by 40%.
