issy2
Hello all, some may remember The Verse Train from a loong time ago (07/08 maybe) which was a group-written poem where each poster added a verse. Last time we got to the point where few posts would fill a page, it was so long - a total of 73 verses. So I thought it would be fun if we did the same kind of thing again. Don't bother posting on this thread if - You haven't spell checked it (excusing artistic license) Thought it out Put some effort into it (And by that I mean, don't just type up the first thing that comes into your head.) It would also be nice if the verses had a good rhythm, but that's not compulsory Rules - Spell check!!!!!!!! 1 verse per post only 1 verse consists of 4 normal-ish length lines Try and keep it connected to what other people have written Don't even think about changing anyone else's verse. If you really think it doesn't fit then you can PM them, and politely ask them about it. Copy and pastaaaa all the verses so far into your post so you have all of it then add yours at the bottom. Feel free to make it more specific, turn it into a story, etc. Try and keep the same 'tone' or voice throughout, should make it more interesting. Sorry if I'm being a party-pooper but can we keep it free of fairies, elves, wizards, etc. Not because I have anything against any of them but that's what it was about mainly last time. I'll start (oh dear...) Look, he said. Look that way, where the land meets the sea. Look that way, where the sun greets the waves. Look that way, to the end of the earth... andufusthebronze
Ah the verse train. I believe we had a conversation about it only recently. Look, he said. Look that way, where the land meets the sea. Look that way, where the sun greets the waves. Look that way, to the end of the earth... Can't you see? He asked. As the sun shut it's eyes, And the moon shone it's light, I heard the earth singing it's song...
