I'm on my brothers laptop at the moment since my laptop's internet has completely died.

I use Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit and have a wireless connection to a linksys router on broadband that's working fine atm.

What happened is that earlier on my internet connection died. Not an uncommon thing, so I restarted my laptop and I noticed it was taking ages to shut down, when it was finished shutting down I got a blue screen of death. I couldn't see what it said as it had tiny writing and went off quickly. The laptop then booted up like usual but the internet hasn't worked since.

Also there's a little icon on my laptop that flashes when it's doing a wireless connection. There's also a switch under it that lets you turn the wireless on or off. The icon hasn't flashed since either.

I've checked the device manager and all the network adapters are okay according to it, i've updated with the latest driver software for it too. I've reset winsock through the command promt but the laptop still won't find a connection to our wireless internet. I've been at it for hours and i'm at a loss... halp please :?
