Well i scanned my computer and i got tracking cookies from this site. And Since tip.it is rs related i was just wondering if these were harmful.

No, they are completely safe. Some anti-spyware programs may label them as a Low Risk Spyware, but they are harmless. You can remove them if you wish without any adverse effects.

Tip.it cookies keep "temporary" information about the site so you load pages and images faster, and also save some preferences you set before. Lets say you have an auto-login whenever you visit the forums, the cookies keep the information and remembers to auto-log you in your profile. Even then board styles you have set. Basically they just make your time visiting the site a bit easier to do.
