I've heard people talk about the different types of armour they use. I'm training DefenCe, so what weapon should I use? I heard someone say Battleaxes are good. Does it even matter?

Your profile says your f2p, so you should be using full rune and a rune scimitar.

I can only use Addy at the moment. All Combat skills are 33.

I would recommend an addy scimitar until you can use rune, then upgrade to a rune scimitar as soon as you can.
