February 19, 200917 yr Most definitely. I only use rune armour and don't even use prayer or fire pots and a full inventory of sharks gets me a full inventory. Sometimes I have to eat to make space in inventory. You may need prayer, better armour or just do it like I do? Some use Proselyte and pray the whole time. Or I suppose you could use Barrows. But you most definitely can melee them successfully.
February 19, 200917 yr ya, don't forget thought if you're on task use a slayer helm/ blackmask and don't forget the super att and str pots. I would suggest you pray, they can hit pretty high, and if you're praying you won't have to worry about dieing if you start to lagg a little. February 19, 200917 yr If you are following the guide I am thinking of, you should be fine. I remember on my original account back in the day I used to use monk robes and melee them succesfully. I didn't use the guide, don't even think that guide was around then, but was basically doing the same as guide. I was around the same stats you are too using monk robes, so you should be fine with todays fancy smancy stuff. And I wasn't using whip either back then. Edit: You may want to use Ring of Life at first till you are comfortable with them? Once you get comfortable I would suggest going to the Ring of Wealth
