  1. I would like to find a group to dungeoneer with. I am looking to fulfill a gatherer role. I must tell you I will not engage in combat at all. I will watch you die before I save you. Not mean, but all my combat stats are 1 except for prayer (45) and constitution. (40) My other stats are as follows Fishing - 56 - currently working on this skill Cooking - 99 Runecrafting - 41 Crafting - 75 Mining - 63 Smithing - 57 Firemaking - 63 Woodcutting - 60 As you can see, I should make a fine gatherer for f2p. And I feel my high constitution and prayer should keep me from getting killed off to easy and as a gatherer don't see that as much of a problem. Probably be avoiding the nasties. I have a little experience on another account but not much. I am pretty much a nub at dungeoneering. I have been there though, so I am not completely unaware of how it works. Therefore I will listen to the leader. Or if you are a nub and want to start dungeoneering with me that will work too. We can nub out together. Also was thinking of working on runecrafting to get it to 65 so I could make deaths for the group. Peace out
  2. Oh my gosh!!! I just started playing again after not playing for about a year. I haven't been playing by my own choice. Just have not been able too. I knew bots have always been a problem, but this is outragous! And even on here it seems as if almost people are defending them. I started playing when RuneScape was not even a year old. I have always loved it. And yes, it is a grind game. I have never botted in this whole time and have spent way to much of my life on this game. But I (did) enjoy it. I once heard someone say that staff would sometimes whisk players away like a random and talk to them to see if they were a bot or not. Don't know if this was true, or just someone saying it as a scare tactic. But what would be so hard about doing that. I went to the mining guild an my jaw dropped. I hear people say just go somewhere else. Why should someone actually playing have to go somewhere else because of bots!? It is one thing to have to do this because of an annoying player. You can ignore them, go to another world or just do something else for a little bit. They are eventually going to go do something else too. I only see a couple of solutions to this. And I know it wouldn't work. People that actually do play just quit paying for membership. That will never happen. But iif it did then maybe something might actually get done by Jagex. My fear is after what I have seen in the last couple of weeks I have been back is that more botters are probably paying than people actually playing. I used to enjoy this game, still could if it wasn't for all the bots. I never thought I would say I miss people talking on this game, but I do. I guess I will no longer play. Or at the least play in a manner where I have a life this time. I hate to say it, but I think this is bye to RuneScape. A game I used to worry about shutting the doors because then I wouldn't get to play. Never thought I would leave on my own, but.... I could go on, but what is the point.

    Jagex stinks

It really doesn't matter anymore. I am going to take his wonderful advice and not let the door hit me. Peace out

I have nothing to say to you. Peace out

I am by no means having an emotional breakdown. I will continue to play. But the tactics they use has lost me as a paying customer/player for good. If you thinking I am having an emotional breakdown makes you feel good, then go right on ahead and think that. You ain't poop in an outhouse to me.

Thanks for the advice mod, but I don't believe I can repost without swearing. That is complete and utter garbage. That is about as nice as I can be right now. And it took a lot not to swear in this post. you can do what you feel. I think deep down you agreee with me and it is total hogwash. Ban me if you like. I am tired of trifling (fill in the blank) they pull. Edit: I thought Jagex was supposed to be something about being something or other with the customers. I bought into that horse pile too. I remember the pessimistic people on the boards and thinking they should just give them a chance. Turns out the pessimist were right. Jagex stinks. Nothing has changed except they continue to preach what they don't practice.
  7. Regardless of why you posted. You aren't going to get 99 fletch in the amount of time you said you would be playing. You might as well squash that [cabbage]. Most people would come on here and tell you what it is going to take and fail to tell you you aren't going to be able to do it in that time out of fear of it coming off wrong. Im being real with you so you know that [cabbage] ain't [bleep]ing happening. Go ahead and fletch if you want, but you ain't get 99 fletch in 45 days playing five hours a week. I don't care if you have 100 million gold pieces. So I said fletch if you want, but you may want to think about doing something else possibly instead since the 99 is a pipe dream at this moment so to speak.
  8. Yes it is, and if you look at the very next post I belive compfreak tells about his experience at the 7 lobster spot. You fight a lot of battles. Don't you?
  9. At the expense of this thread going bad. How the hell many clay rocks do you need? Varrock West mine has three of them. Oh yeah, I forget how horrifically slow they respawn. I am not saying mine clay, but if you go that route Varrock West mine is fine. I never had a problem there, even on nub accounts. Get it just as fast there as you can any clay mining spot in the whole of RuneScape. Also, if you do mine, upgrade your picaxe every time as soon as you can. On all my accounts I had all my pics bought before I could even use them. It does make a difference. Peace
  10. Here is a guide with some statistics on that very subject.
  11. I could be wrong, but I think you can take leather range gear? Not the studded variety, just the plain ol leather range armour. It may only be the top or the chaps, but I am pretty sure at least one of em can be taken. Cape too, can't a cape be taken? Edit: I could be wrong. I craft laws through balloon network. But can't you wear armour when you go via abyss?
  12. Is there some new update I don't know about? You have to be a certain level to use the bank now! Mining clay in Varrock is just as close to a bank as the guild is if not closer. I am assuming they are f2p? But the only other spot I can think of off the top of my head which is close to a bank is near Yanille. But seeing as how they asked about mining and Varrock, and I am confident they can access the Varrock West bank just fine. Keep hope alive. You can access the bank. I believe in you!
  13. Do you still have Glarials pebble? You can go here to find out about Glarial's pebble and search through quest guides to find how to get it back. Here is a link to Glarial's amultet for you to use too. This is usually how I go about finding out how to get things like that I need again. Unless someone here can tell you directly from memory. A little work and I am sure you can figure it out yourself though. I am not doing everything for you. I will head you in a direction so you can find out on your own though. Kinda simple if you think about it.
  14. I am guessing coal trucks or guild are pretty close as in best spots. Probably going to be left up to more of a preference than anything there. Maybe just try one of those out. If it fees groovy then go with it. If it doesn't check the other spot out. You can check this out and see if you can come up with something that looks sweet to you maybe. I know you obviously want to mine this coal. I personally can't stand to mine coal. I use Manage Thy Kingdom. I use ten workers on coal. Good amount of coal at a decent price. If you just really want to mine it then cool. Just thought I would throw that in there if you just need it but don't really want to pay the going price, it is an alternative if that is the case.
  15. I have no idea how you plan on going about fletching. Work with us here. Are you going to buy logs and strings. You going to buy logs and flax and spin strings. Do you have any inkling of a plan thrown together what so ever? Do you have any supplies already. Are you going to buy bows and string them. Are you going to alch said bows. Do you have to buy the natures to if you are. You're killing me. Either way, only playing five hours a week, and you have 45 days left. I honestly don't think you are gonna make it. Thats why I suggest maybe thinking of something else to do. Maybe go for getting 99 woodcutting and you could have a bit of your starting stock when you can go for fletch again. I notice you have some decent levels. Some not so decent. Maybe try to balance out your character while you still are p2p? Edit: Just for when you do come back and see this. Judging by how much you said you play, you are not going to get 99 fletching by the time you go f2p. I am not being mean. I am trying to keep you from setting yourself up for disappointment. If you want to work on fletching that is fine. Go for it. Just don't expect to be able to have 99 fletch when you go f2p, cause it ain't happening.
  16. If you are going to be f2p for a while you may just try cutting yews for when you come back to p2p if you want 99 fletch so bad. Meantime you could train your agility so you can make those trips to yews and back to bank quicker on f2p. And throw something else in there so you don't die of boredom training your agility. I am going to be upfront, blunt and honest with you. I don't think you can get 99 fletch in 45 days playing five hours a week. Especially if you are having to buy everything with 5 mill. And if you spin your own strings, well, I know damn well you won't get it.
  17. This and this are a couple of options. You are going to be hard pressed to get 99 if you only play an hour a day. If that is the case you might just work on something else unless you just have your heart set on fletching. But I dont know how many (for example) yew bows you need. I know I need to make and string like 65.000 and I am 85. Why are people always so vague when asking for help. Do people even take the time to see how much of what they need to do before asking questions?
  18. You could try mining clay at the Varrock West mine. They sell for 100 each, and you should be able to mine enough in a day or two to have full rune. Don't know your other stats so I can't really offer any other good advice. But clay sells for 99 each and are quick to mine even at your mining level. No reason why you shouldn't be able to mine enough in a day or two for full rune unless you only play for an hour or two a day.
  19. If you don't really play p2p very much and plan on going back to f2p soon, I would highly suggest agility. Seeing as how it is the only p2p only skill that has usefulness on f2p. If you plan on staying member I will leave it up to other tipiters to give you advice on other skills.
  20. I haven't tested it yet and I don't know how crowded they are on f2p since I never really woodcut much on f2p, but this is something I was planning on checking out here shortly seeing as how I too am fixing to be f2p. And due to the fact i was thinking of training some woodcutting and actually making a little money off of it. If you have explorer ring you might want to check out the yews in Rimmington? I was thinking of doing that. Cut yews there, teleport to cabbage patch then run to Draynor bank and bank them. Teleport back to cabbage patch and run back to yews in Rimmington and chop another full inventory. Rinse and repeat. I really don't know if they are crowded on f2p or not. They aren't on p2p, but there are more spots to cut them on p2p too though. Someone else may know better than me about this for f2p worlds since I haven't really checked it out yet. I plan too though and you might give it a look see. Good luck
  21. I think there will always be some amount of rares in the game. Question is, how many are actually in active accounts. I have one friend that has a White Party Hat that will probably never play again, and he has no plans to sell it. I know of another account with four Halloween masks and a Santa Hat that hasn't been played in over a year or two and may or may not ever get played on again. Then you have some players that may just not part with them just because. So I feel most of the rares will always be around to some extent in the game. Just how many are out there with possibility of you being able to buy them may pretty much be next to nothing though one day.
  22. Seeing as I don't play the mini games and all I don't know to much about the Sacred Clay tools other than that they exist. Seems to me you already know how many willows you can cut with one, right? 200? The experience is double with sacred clay axe right? If so, double the experience of 200 willow logs and get that number. Figure out how much experience from your current level to 85 and divide that by the number you get from one axe and you have your number of axes needed.
  23. I just use whatever the default them is. I assume that is the tip.it theme? Works for me. As mentioned by someone else, it ain't broke so I see no need to fix it.
