Okay, we all know Barrows sets degrade over time and need repaired. Well mine is down to 25 at the moment. My question is this, does it give any warning at all before it becomes completely useless and needs to be repaired. I would hate to get caught in a battle against a really tough foe, then all the sudden it is like I have no armour at all. I would have to rely on nothing but dragon boots and barrows gloves to save my hide then. And yes, I am aware that I can go ahead and repair it now, I still would like to know the answer to this question though. Thanks and Peace

I went bald the other day for no reason too. I have been lending out my whip though. And for free I might say. I haven't really used it in about two weeks anywho, so I figured why not. Maybe that is why I went bald? I had beautiful red dreads too, still have my sweet red viking beard though.

I agree, nothing worse than overshooting the mini map and hitting that stupid new map button. It was just fine at the top of the screen where it used to be. I never accidentally clicked on it there. I says get rid of it and put it back where it was. Just my two gold pieces worth.

Success!!! Not sure if I found it because of the replies or just finally figured it out? Regardless, a couple hundred thousand gold pieces worth of pots later I freed the parents. And this ice path is in the same cave with all the wolves, and where you kill the boss. The exact same cave? Right? The one you enter after having to kill the trolls to get the ice sickles to fall so you can enter it? I have already wasted more pots just wandering around than fighting three bosses. I ain't gonna lie, it is starting to piss me off using up pots just aimlessly wandering around. Edit: I hardly ever burn sharks, now I can barely cook friggin swordfish, hell right now my cooking is 27 and I have 87 cooking!!!

I have defeated the boss for the third diamond. I have wasted so many pots trying to figure the trail out. It is getting really frustrating. I unlocked the hint on RS site. I realize there is a trail to follow to get to them. Hell, everything is so effin white, I cant see the effin trail. Any tips please, before I go crazy. You think they could have made the trail a little more offset in color than it is? Where the hell is this effin invisible trail at???!!!

What I find particularly amusing, is how an hour or two ago, I went from having dreadlocks to being bald. And I did nothing to change my hairstyle. WTF is up with that?

They sell very slowly. And mine are not at max price. I have had a little over 1k of them on there for about a month and only sold a few.

Isn't there a quest, that when completed allows you to talk to certain NPC's from a distance. I coulda swore there was one that once completed, allows you to talk to Bert (Hand in the Sand) without having to go to him, and some other NPC's as well. Thanks in advance for any help!

First off, I have been reporting macroers. What really pisses me off is when there are several or more in a spot and you go to report one then it tells you that you reported one in the last 60 seconds, and to not abuse the system. So are we gonna get in trouble for try to [bleep]in help them out when they want us to. And tip it has encouraged us to. Much less, I waste my time when I could be carrying on about my business, then the [bleep]in system tells me to quit abusing it, when I am trying to get rid of what we, RS, and tip it or supposedly so vehemont against. And if their damn detection system was so damn good, why are there so damn many? I think the detection system they talk about is all a big lie just to try and make us feel good. Or to scare the ones that are macroing. I give up. Edit: And to top it all off, especially on the free worlds. Not to mention the drop in price in yew logs. Which even so is better than the 1k price for a cert of yews about five years ago. An honest woodcutter cant hardly get any yew logs. I know, I have been playing that long, and remember how easy, although hard, it used to be. I think they need them to keep honest players from acutally being able to do to good. Where are these damn J mods. I realisze they can't be everywhere at once, but I think we all know the most popular macroing spots? Don't they? How hard would it be for them to patrol? I think they need them in the game to a certain extent. I don't know why, but seriously, to a certain extent, I don't think Jagex wants to get completely rid of them. And I am not a conspiracy theorist by the way.

Sorry, no evidence is available for this offence. See, this is the kind of morons you deal with on this game. I had a legitimate account banned that I never cheated on. And I have multiple other accounts I never cheated on. I did on this one, when it tells you to see why you were banned they tell you there is no evidence. RS is all about money, plain and effin simple. I will never now play this game again. Especially since the first account was a legitimate account I never cheated on. And at one time it was in the top three thousand overall players. I have no problem with that account. But ban me for an account where I spent money for membership and never cheated. I understand the money making process for Jagex. It is the thing that makes the world go round. But these [bleep]s can kiss my [wagon].

This is me to a tee. Most rare items do not interest me. Especially party hats. Now I do like santas, and I have one on one of my accounts. But I don't see the need to waste money on trimmed armour, when its untrimmed counterpart is just as good. I have pures, strength pures, monks/priests, pure mages. And I have all around type accounts, where I do everything. I make them where they are all self supportive. If its a mage, i make my runes or get them from drops or spawns. So on and so on. I especially find with a specialised type of account, it doesn't really take that much time to get the skills to make these types. I mean afterall, how much do specialised characters really need? A priest only needs 16 crafting and 20 smithing to make his ammys. I forget offhand what crafting a mage needs? But he is gonna be able to enchant his ammy's an hour or two after they work the chickens on the first day. And cooking is a snap.

Yes, I realise you can lower the volume in the control panel, but is that actually turning the function off. As previous poster stated, and I believe I myself, maybe not in the same words stated, "it is not dial up friendly". Or maybe it is just us two?

The music update stinks. You should at least have a switch that you can turn it off in the music player section, and have it remember your preference every time you log on. The only alternative I have found is to put it on manual and endure the duration of on music piece until it is finished. Then it will quit playing music. Like I said, if they are gonna have it, at least have a switch to turn it off and have this preference saved, so you dont have to mess with putting it on manual every time you log on and endure something that annoys the fire out of you.

I personally can not stand macroers. For one, I do have multiple accounts, and I play fairly. I do not think it is fair for me to have to work hard for the skills I get while someone peacefully sleeps and is getting uber skills. But what I really find annoying is people using auto chatters. It is especially bad on World 1 and other low numbered worlds where people go to buy, sell and trade. It is bad enough that you have to deal with 500 other gamers all trying to buy and sell at once, then you have the dang auto chatters to deal with, and they almost always use annoying chat effects on top of that. It is fairly obvious when someone is using one too. I realise mods are probably doing something about it? But from the times I do go to try and sell or buy, it really does not seem like it. This is mainly just annoying as far as the aesthetics of gameplay.

I have an account that was unfairly banned about a year ago. I never did anything about it because it really angered me. I just made another account and played free servers. I have about five new accounts since then that I play regularly and refuse to pay for membership. The bad thing is, I was in the top 3,000 in hi scores overall. And the account has a lot of rare holiday drop items. Anywho, here it goes. Before I had always paid by phone for membership. In fact, there were months I had membership I did not play. I didn't mind to much, since if I felt like playing I knew i would have membership. Well, one day I moved and decided against a home phone, and I went from dial up to broadband cable connection. I had a cell phone, but could not use it to pay. Now down to the real guts of it all. I went through the pay provider, they offered pay by phone of course. They also offered alternative payment methods. Well the only way I was able to find out that I could pay by money order was to provide a bunch of my personal information, which I did do. I was simply trying to find out my other options. I did not realise I had sealed the deal. In my opinion, this pay provider should be more up front with the alternative methods. I just wanted to find out so in the future when I had the spare cash I would know my options. I really feel like I got jerked around. Edit: Okay, I went to try and appeal it finally. I checked my message center as it said when I tried to log on. Well, since it has been over three months there were no messages. And when I went to use the appeal a ban link it would not let me appeal. Here is what it said when I went to appeal. There are currently 0 blackmarks out of 10 on this account Your account is currently in negative credit as a result of billing problems, and will not be allowed to access the game - please see your message centre for details I believe that more or less shows that I was a good player having no blackmarks. And is a credit to the story I told previously. How can I go about resolving this. I find it funny how on another thread people are quick to point out when you do something wrong, but when you are in the right and get a bad wrap, and you are trying to go about resolving it, they could care less
