I was thinking the same... Edit: Does Sara Sword have a crush and a slash option for training strength?

...is it fail, or is it me? I Bought one thinking it may be a good alternative (cheaper) Than a Saradomin Sword for training strength. Funny thing is, I cant seem to hit as hard with it as I can a whip, which doesn't even have the strength training option. Yes, it would take longer, but I feel like I would be better off training controlled option with whip.

Most people do other things while playing RS. So I am not downing you for eating or browsing in other tabs/windows while playing. But this is exactly why you are being logged out. You can do something such as smelting, be watching the screen the whole time and as long as you don't make mouse movements in the RS applet, you will eventually be logged out. The only solution to this is, is to keep your hand on the mouse, move it around occasionally and do things such as check your stats or something. I too have been logged out while fishing/smelting/making pottery while actually paying attention to the game. I just didn't have my hand on the mouse. It would be nice if this did not happen, but I seriously doubt Jagex is gonna do any thing about it. This also is closely tied to bots/making sure you are actually playing.

Sorry Robert, that comment was not directed at you. and yes, it would be nice if you didn't get logged out so much while doing certain things, but a pause button is not the answer. How could you continue fishing if you were paused?

Even with the time limit, you would still have a bunch of people standing around doing nothing. How many people are playing? I can promise you, Jagex will never add a pause option (function) like that to the game. Dead Horse as far as I am concerned once again. And once again, this is not the debate board.

I agree with thread starter. It happens a lot when smelting things such as iron or sliver too. Or making pottery. Fortunately, I really don't mess with pottery to much anymore. The pause idea is just fruity. You would have a ton of people on that aren't doing nothing, paused, just sitting around doing nothing. Especially with the abundance of people with broadband, always on Internet these days.

Oh, really? I didn't realize this topic was on the Debate board, I thought it was in the Rants board? I didn't realize the goal here was to win or lose. I thought it was to vent frustration? I am starting to worry my self. I can understand the rant. But to go on this long about it has me worried. I am worried Zierro is on meds and not taking them, or maybe needs to go see a doctor about getting on meds for something. Seriously, it is a game and get over it already. Are you seriously this upset over it to continue on this long about it?

I myself was not referring to using construction to make money, because of my house, I can make a couple million a day fairly easy. and still have time left over to something besides make money.

If someone tells me they will pay something for an item then they offer me less, I decline the trade and don't even bother talking to them any further about it. Most of the time they go, Kk (which to me is ignorant as hell) I'll pay. I still refuse and just don't talk to them. You already wasted my time once, I ain't jackin with ya again. And teleporting to Varrock is really not that hard. I don't even bother asking for something I want in a bank anymore. Know enough spells, have my own portals, done enough quests. I can pretty much get anywhere I need to go pretty quick, really not that hard to do.

I guess you can just walk everywhere, so you will continue to look so awesomely cool.

Mining is not high on my list of fave skills. I think they should probably at least get a Dragon Pic-axe though. I mean woodcutters have a Dragon Axe...But to be honest, I can't tell it is any better than a rune axe as far as woodcutting goes...sure it has higher combat stats, but as far as just cutting faster, I can't tell it does. And if you do think it sucks, just find a skill you do like to concentrate on. Personally, I think excelling at one skill for money, where you have to jump worlds for it to be profitable is..well it is not for me. I know of plenty of things to do to make a mil or more a day that don't require me to hop worlds all the time.

And I figured it was better to add my two cents on this rant than start another rant about "Item Lending".

I have no problem lending out items. If someone asks for a Dragon Axe or a Whip, I usually (about half the time) let them borrow it, for free at that, if I know that I am not going to be using it for a while. But yes, no means no. And as far as I am concerned, no ends a discussion. The problem I see with it is this. You can lend out extremely valuable items to your friend now, so they can go, let's say fight a really hard monster, without fear of the items being lost. (seeing as how lent items aren't lost if you die) Takes away the factor of "I might lose this sweet item if I die. Just another way of making things better for the little whiny brats that think there should be no risks involved in this game.

I love the way people always respond to others rants. I am a pretty good typist, and I do not use the skill on the job. And yes, it is a good skill to have just for personal use if you enjoy using the computer a lot, even at home. The point is is dialogs that pop up in the window and prevent you from being able to type are annoying. It happens in quests too. I believe it was "Dealing with Scabaras". I was in a dialog with an npc, and it was a long one, I thought they were never gonna stfu. :lol: And some other player was asking me something. They were like "fine then [wagon]" Sorry, I was already five minutes into an extremely long dialog that was boring me to tears. Sorry, I am not starting it over just to tell you something that is probably right under your nose in the first place. Would be nice if you could talk to others in these situations.

Use the ignore feature of the game. Just like people annoying you to borrow things. You like the attention, you like to piss and moan about how you don't like the attention. I mean, ffs, the solution is so simple. Exactly the reason why you are competing with me in Special Olympics right now. I will not post any more in this thread.
