I have only ever said that when referring to an overgrown cat. Never been muted for it. But you always have people that look for things to report. I don't bother to get drawn into arguments anymore. It seems like to me, at least a while back there was a wave of people trying to entice other players into arguments just to report them. Seemed to be happening to me a lot. I did get muted once for telling a guy he had no nuts. Even though he more or less antagonized me and drew me in. I think him calling my Mother all kinds of [bleep]es was much worse. I said this before, seems like you can say pretty much what you want as long as it is not in English? Now I get threatened by autoing reports because I don't talk much. To0 many haters. The general RS player base is the reason I don't talk much anymore. You either have to deal with it or decide if you really want to play. I remember a time when you could pretty much talk to people and play. I still enjoy playing but find not talking to the majority is the way to go. I talk to the occasional person when they act like they have good sense. I usually just ignore most though. And yes. spammers should get muted. Most do care and ignore it. One spot that is real bad is f2p lobster fishing. Whenever I am f2p and go there to fish, I usually have 15 to 20 people on ignore within a few minutes. Sure ignoring is easy. Sure I do it. But to have to do it so often at times. And why do you have to be such a spammy little brat in the first place. Absolutely no point in that.

I agree with Seogege on the flatpacks. They can be a pain. I don't think you can buy what I want, but I have searched before to see. Kind of like they mentioned. Mahogany in a search still should bring up any mahogany item or mahogany flatpack item regardless if Jagex wants to call it Lemons on the G.E. Edit: Do a search on the G.E. database for "bar" and see what it brings up. It will bring up things like drinks. Now I can see why it would bring these up, I would probably do a different search for drinks if I were looking for drinks. Just makes sense that the actual G.E. where we go to trade should be a little more intelligent. I really don't see how that can be argued. I mean sure, a lot of us have figured to put drag in instead of dragon. Doesn't mean that the search can't be made a little smarter. You people kill me.

Selling or Alching is a loss either way. I think you lose a little less selling them. But I always alched them anyway. One of those things where I felt people weren't willing to pay enough, so I was willing to take a bit of a loss on alching them type thing.

I can keep you stocked up till you get that awesome 99. And I agree, Slayer cape is a pretty respectable cape in my opinion. Personally I found the end of Recipe for Disaster to be rediculously easy. Especially after all the hype. I did almost die once, but it was only because I lagged really bad then x-logged. If you ask me it is just long and can get somewhat tedious at times and you just wish you were finished with it. Seriously though, I don't think you would have any problems in the final fight. Just use some good sense and find out about how the bosses attack. What style and how to defend against. Good luck.

I would say get smithing or runecrafting up. But they probably are not useful, nor do they look good. Could save up for Third Age I guess, but you still have a long ways to go. I know you said it is burning a hole in your pocket. But I guess you could save it on the off chance a new high priced item comes out you really want to get your hands on. Edit: Save up eight milliion more for the Saradomin Godsword?

Funny thing is, most of the people I hear doing that are members on the f2p servers! Then you hear. I'm going to a member server, you are all a bunch of noobs.

I think all the skirts look pretty cool except for the Dragon Skirt. But, I would not put someone down on the game for wearing it either. It would be better if the bottom was not fringed or whatever it is. If you haven't figured this one out yet, you will be called noob/nub/nublet or some variation thereof by someone for some reason or the other. If you know those and lol, you can communicate perfectly well with a majority of the RS players.

I couldn't bring myself to read every bit of this horrible mess, since I jumped on this wagon late. I am not very experienced at using mage as far as combat, so I can't really say this is how you should handle it. Sounds to me some pretty good things have been suggested to overcome the problem of maging the meleers? Sounds like to me you don't have a problem with the meleers having to adapt as long as you don't have to adapt. Sure, meleers adapt, so you have to too. Sorry it can't be simple and easy for you. I suppose I could argue that a meleer would have to bring good armour to have to protect from being ambushed by another meleer too. Or he just takes that chance. But what do you care, as long as it isn't your problem! As long as it is simple and easy for you!

Yet it is ok for a trophy in a POH to call someone an idiot? What's next. Mutes and bans for saying you have a fat puss. Or telling someone else they have a fat puss. The way I see it, if a NPC or anything in the game can use a word, it should be acceptable for players to use it. And I agree. It isn't worth arguing with an idiot in the first place. Just ignore them, leave or switch worlds.

One of my fave outfits is Helm of Netiznot, Amulet of Fury, Yak Hide top and bottom with Dragon Boots, Barrows Gloves and the Fremennik Shield and Blade with the Legends Cape.

I agree with OP. It seems to me they are adding in a lot of stuff to the game that to me I don't care for. They are really starting to cater to the cry babies. I guess enough people have pissed and moaned about how long this or that takes to level. So now Jagex has to cater to the cry baby base, which is obviously huge to retain its player base. They are basically catering to a I don't want to risk anything and I don't want to have to work that hard player base. I just continue to play as I always have. There is not one mini game I play aside from Tears of Guthix.

You don't have to pick them up. But they do stack, so... I just use my daily 30 alch charges from my Explorers Ring to get rid of them. I don't think they are worth using a Nature Rune on myself. You may find this a waste of time. But I thought it might be an idea since it obviously grinds your gears enough to post about it here.

In all actuality, there really is not a need for a better melee armor in f2p if you think about it. If you take into consideration the monsters you have to choose from to train on in f2p, Runite armor is adequate. If they ever do give a better option as far as armor, then I would think they would have to do it for range and magic too.

Money is not really a concern of mine. I am using a familiar. I figure pie would be a better option, especially since it is +2 over the potion. My question is more will it speed up my time noticeably/less time fishing for x amount of fish. And will the pie bonus stack with the familiar bonus. I guess I will just check and see myself. What worth is is relative. Does it make any difference in time spent and does it stack? I guess if someone can answer if the bonus stacks, that is all I really want to know to make up my mind. Thanks.
