What is the Correct Formula for Combat Leveling ???

Hello,

 

I was wandering what the correct formula for Combat leveling. Now if you dont understand what im asking then let me explain.

 

 

 

I heard when:

 

- a Melee skill is your highest (Atk,Str,Def) then your combat skill is effected by Mage and Prayer also.

 

- Magic is your highest skill then your combat skill is effected by Def, Prayer and Summoning.

 

- Range is your highest skill then your comabt skill is effected by Def and Prayer.

 

 

 

Now if this is correct, just let me know....But if it NOT correct then please help me find out what the correct details all are, or if I just MISSED some SUB-CATEGORIES.

Range: Range obviously/Defense/Hitpoints/Prayer/Summoning

 

Magic: Magic/Defense/Hitpoints/Prayer/Summoning

Generally:

 

If your strengthy+attack/1.5 is higher then your range and mage you are melee based

 

If your range is higher then strength+attack/1.5 you are range based

 

If your mage is higher then strength+attack/1.5 you are mage based

 

This is how people can have like 70 attack and strength with 99 mage, range, def, and hp yet be ~100 combat

 

Defence, hitpoints, prayer, and summoning always effect your combat level.

 

If you are melee based you generally level every 3 str/atk/def levels, then the rest is made up of hp+prayer+summoning.
