This time last year I decided to quit Runescape in order to concentrate on my school work. But now as I manage to find time to do my college work and enjoy time on the computer, I've dcided to return to the game which I loved. So I was just wodnering what would be a good place to start my Runescape career again? I've got 9m to my name, any must do quests or levels that are must haves to get? What items are now hot or not? Thanks :D

I would advice you get a taste for summoning, after level 40 it gets very helpful and can save a lot of time and effort.

There are a few new minigames out as well as PvP worlds.

    Granite Maul x 3

Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats]

What do you like doing most in RS? Not that I'm much of one to help, as I've been in a similar boat and only just got back into things a few days ago, but slayer and the slayer points system was my first port of call.

You could try out the new Slayer pointage system, there's a nice couple of rewards in that. You have to do Smoking Kills to get it started.

Oh and if you were ever a big pker, PVP worlds might be a good choice for you \'

Ahh slayer, always were a massive fan of slayer. So what ways are best to make money now? And what monsters are best to kill for loot?

Too bad you came back. It is the dream of many RuneScapers to be able to quit and never look back.

Well as I said I only just got back into things but I have taken to doing the quests(I had to do ichtlarin's little helper first) for the Slayer Reward point system(which is actually the Smoking Kills quest). It's worth having a read up on things or on the runescape wiki. You basically get points that can help you a bit in slayer, making/buying items to make things easier, skipping tasks etc. One of the big advantages when you get enough points(which may be a while off) is making the Slayer Helmet that can let you combine pretty much all the headgear slayer items into one, which means you can get black mask bonuses on things that usually req a headslot to fight! That's my motivation for doing it, anyway :)
