Use the tip.it calc. There's a drop down box for smithing, if you're buying the bars, you'd want to check smithing. Smelting is when you're making ores into bars, smithing is making bars into items.

thats what i was using to get from 63-66 but it wasnt right for some reason and i ended up being really short handed on my materials

Maybe you read it wrong. I'd just try it again, because all we would do is look at the calculator and give you that answer. It's always been right for me.

ok, im going to make steel platebodies and alch them with the nats i have to make to 50 rc(2.65k) and whats left over ill sell. can you tell me how much ill lose per steel plate if i alch them or will i break even on them?

im not being lazy every calculation i've done so far has been wrong thats why im asking for other peoples helps but nvm since you cry baby's are going to whine about it im going to have my topic closed now!
