    Lost City

You can't chop it until you killed the spirit, I thought?
  2. I'll have to check out that dungeon! And when I started, Slayer wasn't a skill lol, then when it came out, I never really got into it much.

A wand? Well that's something new to me, well I guess I didn't realize you could make wands (my hiatus is killing me!). Maybe you could add that into the guide, that you can craft a wand to use?
  4. The spells section is in need of rework, as far as which runes are used to cast spells (i.e., blasts no longer require death runes, etc). Also, did the experience change? I seem to get the same amount of experience regardless of how hard I hit, so did it change to just a base of how many hitpoints the enemy has?

Unless I'm mistaken, you can no longer mage the tree spirit on Entrana, as just having the runes won't allow you to cast the spell. Everytime I tried, it said you need a weapon in your main hand, which aren't allowed on the island.
  6. Thanks for the glacors help, and as far as the second part, yeah that's my struggle too! I'm not sure where, for lack of better term, the cool kids hang out! I do slayer a little bit here and there, but I've never been a fan of slayer, I'm a little old school lol
  7. Where are decent training spots for lower level mages? Currently level 41, aiming for 59 right now. Also, what level would you recommend before starting to mage higher level monsters (i.e. glacors? You mage those, right?)
  8. I still want to get my mining cape...that was always my goal with Vulxai, but since I lost him, might as well use Wise Pond to try and get it! I got several more months here in the desert, so I think I'll have some time lol
  9. Yeah I'm still trynna get everything down again...so much change and what did I do today? I mined some iron...when in doubt, go back to the classics
  10. Well that's highly disappointing...that was my favorite thing to do!
  11. What?! I loved CW! That's kind of my return goal is to be able to play again! Oh P.S....quit posting, this is now our blog...
  12. Thanks! Nice to see you in purple! Oh it's going about as well as it can lol
  13. Thanks for the answer! And just for clarification, when I was talking about training spots, I was referring to 70+ stats (when this character gets there, obviously right now, I just do whatever I can until then)
  14. So I came back to RS a little bit out of sheer boredom (I'm in Afghanistan, there's more downtime than I'd like), and I was blown away at all the changes since I left. So I have some questions, forgive my lack of knowledge! 1) I see the term EoC around...what is that? 2) What the [censor] is Divination? I kind of fail to see it's usefulness, or point 3) What are the popular mage training methods these days? (Keep in mind, this is a brand new character, so I don't have a deep bank account, nor quests done yet) 4) What are the popular melee set-ups and training locations? I've been seeing something that the abby whip isn't that great anymore? 5) Good ranging methods? 6) Where are the good charm hunting spots these days? 7) Good mining/smithing methods? 8) Good fishing methods? Again, please forgive my lack of knowledge. Also, keep in mind, my internet isn't amazing out here, and would rather not do any big monster hunting, as I can be disconnected at any given time (or have to leave at a moment's notice). Thanks!
  15. At a lower level (sub 20 in stats), I liked the giant rats south of Varrock. It's rather quick xp at a low level, and they drop meat, so if you have a hatchet/tinderbox, you can cook it and stay there until you get your stats to (or around) 20 and then move on to something bigger.
  16. I started a relatively new character, and started doing the God Emissaries. I would definitely recommend adding a column for required skills. I know it mentions up top that if you don't have the requirements, you'll just get reduced xp (which seems to only be the case for the exploration set). It would be nice to know what levels you need to get the max xp (for instance, the second job requires at least 20 agility to receive the full 2k xp. I was only level 4 and got 500xp). As well as the second combat job, it won't let you start unless you have 25 mage, ranged, or attack. So maybe get the requirements for each of the jobs to start (as far as the combat and skilling sets goes), and the required agility level to receive max xp on the exploration sets. Combat based: 1st task (unkown if any), 2nd task - Level 25 in Attack, Magic, or Ranged, 3rd Task - Level 30 in Attack, Magic, or Ranged, 4th task - Level 40 in Attack, Magic, or Ranged, 5th task - Level 50 in Attack, Magic, or Ranged, 6th task (unknown) Skill based: 1st task (unknown, if any), 2nd task - Level 30 in Woodcutting, Mining, or Fishing, 3rd task - Level 40 in Firemaking or Crafting, 4th task - Level 50 in Thieving or Hunter, 5th task - (unknown, assume Level 60 in selected stats?) Exploration: 1st task (unknown), 2nd task (20 agility to receive full xp), 3rd task (25 agility to receive full xp), 4th task (30 agility to receive full xp) ALSO NOTE: In the Skill based section, in the 2nd task, it says you'll receive Woodcutting, Fishing or SMITHING xp. You should receive Mining xp from that one.
