Also currently there is a slight lack in Monster Hunters in our Crew ranks, so most of those guides are a little behind, which is what most users complain about. Like I said no offense, I know it's a lot of information, and I base this from a Monster Hunting standpoint anyway. No offense taken, I was just clarifying. By all means, if you have improvements, post them in our Website Updates and Corrections, and we'll try to get to it as soon as we can (with our lack of monster hunters).

Exactly, instead of "I'm too tired to deal with stupidity so I'll just insult you instead". You can't really do much to improve H&A. Splitting into Efficiency and Fun is just a terrible idea, what if the question has nothing to do with either??? I mean, the least we can all do is to respect other posters and not insult them at the first sight of "wrong information". Agreed totally. Not everyone strives for 100% efficiency (if I did, I would have quit a long time ago). Half the time I idle out standing at a bank...it took me 5 months to get 99 cooking. I am obviously FAR from efficient, however I still enjoy the game nonetheless. Sure, every now and then I'd like to know HOW to do something the best way, but if I choose some other way, I'd rather not be insulted.

Until they flame you, call you an efficiency freak, and/or completely derail the topic... It's happened plenty before. Yes, I have seen this myself. That can be dealt with, and hopefully it will start to be dealt with in an appropriate manner.

Don't quote me on this, but wasn't some research done to show that waiting has more of a benefit than collecting everyday due to decimals being involved? And since Jagex rounds down, you wait until those decimals add up to give you another number. Also similar research I have seen (again cannot provide as I cannot recall where I saw it, but I know it was on these forums) suggests that 9/6 is a better ratio than 10/5, as both 9 and 10 give the same amount, however 6 gets bumped up a tier over 5. PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong, but this is just going by my memory from previous advice given.

On the issue of Quality control in H&A, there's no real fair way to do this. There's a lot of advice given under false pretenses, not intentional trolling. All you can do is have a civil debate with said user explaining the erroneous information they provided.

In all honesty, (and I'm website crew, so I don't deal with all this nonsense, I just help maintain the main site, so this is NOT biased...I didn't even know what was going on until I read these topics), all I'm hearing is whining. This is a game fansite...the world is not going to end. If you don't want to write guides here, fine, there are many others who will. I've seen countless trolling by a certain user in question, and you should have seen a ban coming. All I'm saying is remember...this is A GAME FANSITE...

I really don't see how anyone who has passed basic algebra doesn't get 288...

This actually made me laugh! (thank you!) As for my opinions? First let me tell you my background. I'm a Native American male who grew up on a reservation. That being said. I have gotten drunk, and I have gotten high. I rarely get drunk (maybe a few times a year), and I rarely get high (I never plan on it, but if it's offered, well I'm not buying). The alcohol does have a negative affect if you develop an addiction to it. Just a few weeks ago my best friends mom died from liver and kidney failure at the age of 41. Marijuana does not kill anyone, nor are the cons really that heavy to keep illegal. The THC in Marijuana is not addicting, it's the high feeling that's addicting. If you have a bad day (very bad day), are in pain, or just need to relieve some stress, blazing up definitely helps you out. Now, if you blaze constantly every day just for the high feeling, you'll move on to heavier drugs, and that's where the problem lies. tl;dr - Alcohol and Marijuana are both good on occasion.

I kind of like the fact it takes awhile to get it. Jagex has made everything waaaay to easy. It's time to put something in-game that kids can't get after school before bed-time.

There's also the issue that our pages can't be too big, and video's aren't exactly small, and sometimes hard to see what's really going on. We try to stay against using videos amongst our site as much as possible. However, if you wanted to create a user made guide with a video and post in the forums, be our guest!

I am no coder, however I feel the the equipment builder isn't used by any one person enough to warrant core sets. Most of the time an individual would just use it one time at any given time they use it. That being said, core equipment should only include top and bottom, as the headgear, boots, weapons, etc normally aren't of the same set-up as the top and bottoms, which would make it kind of a waste to include "core" sets for only two items. However, this is only MY opinion, and I'll talk with our coders as well as to what they think. EDIT: I have spoken with a coder, and they said while it may be on their to-do list, there are many other things taking priority, so it may take some time before they get to it.

Might be a mod that did it. I did that, it is easier for us if it's all in one post, and is quite unnecessary to have many different posts with very little information in them. Keep updating, and we'll let you know when we edit it, which should be soon.

From what I understand, you don't lose your points as your purchase the spells. However, once you purchase Vengeance Group, that's when they deduct the points.

Our government is far from wise. They care more about money than our interests, believe me. That being said, AMERICA isn't greedy, AMERICA'S GOVERNMENT is greedy. What evidence supports your assertion? My assertion of the US government being corrupt? You know what, I will withdraw what I previously said, as not ALL the government is corrupt, but there's a good portion. A lot of bills get backed by representatives solely because they are given some money. I don't have any evidence, nor do I care to look for it, take it as you will. Again, no evidence to prove this (nor do I care to look for it), but I know a representative from my state for her re-election had campaign ads saying "I denied this bill" etc etc. The thing they didn't mention is that the bill passed BEFORE her vote, as her vote wouldn't have mattered either way, so she denied it so she could come back and say she denied the bill. I will clarify again, I have no physical evidence (as there is obviously none of that around), but my state is small, our representatives are quite known by most people, as well as my security clearance for the army.

This Rune Wiki Page should have what you want, and since it's just numbers the wiki should be pretty accurate. I remember when I made my thread over a year ago (the results posted just above this), the RS wiki was pretty off, so it may still be rather inaccurate.

No I do not. I didn't get my cooking in a week, I got it over a 5 month period. Why? Because I enjoyed it. If I didn't have a couple other goals, I'd probably still cook. I don't look down on those who have 99 cooking, but I do look down on those who brag about it. I have never once bragged about having 99 cooking. I don't wear my cape because I want to brag. I wear it because I like the way it looks. In fact, I really don't want to trim it, because the trim makes it look rather ugly to me. If you seriously look down on 99 cooking...it's a game for enjoyment. You shouldn't look down on anything other than yourself.

This. Not every US Soldier does it, in fact, most US Soldiers don't do it. There are a few bad eggs in the armed forces (I graduated basic training with a few that I would have preferred pushing over a cliff), but that's EVERY ARMED FORCES. Like I said, I'd rather those soldiers be pushed off a cliff, regardless of rank. Rank doesn't matter when you can't act like it.

Is it just me, or do these statements seem to conflict each other? I was told from an Admin that some trolling is acceptable when it's appropriate, and now I'm being told from a Mod that no trolling is allowed. Just my opinion, but I think you guys should discuss it between yourselves, before telling the public multiple different things. There is no confliction in there. It comes down to, and always has, the moderators discretion. If a moderator feels it breaks the rules, they will take action. Not every moderator has the exact same take on things, and you cannot have a group of people who do. One might let it go, one might not and take action. To me, all users that are complaining right now are trying to find trolling loop holes. Don't troll and you won't have to worry about the rules, will you?
