Vulxai
Use the tip.it calc. There's a drop down box for smithing, if you're buying the bars, you'd want to check smithing. Smelting is when you're making ores into bars, smithing is making bars into items. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~

Vulxai
Maybe you read it wrong. I'd just try it again, because all we would do is look at the calculator and give you that answer. It's always been right for me. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
skylor12344
does it matter what i make with the bars??
Lord Diddy
131,509(exp needed)/25(exp per Iron Bar) = 5260.36 Iron Bars needed.
Vulxai
does it matter what i make with the bars?? No, you get xp per bar, not per item. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~

Lord Diddy
Do you want someone to actually rc and do the smithing for you? Honestly open up GE prices and do a bit of 2nd grade math. 5x Steel Bar: (3,135gp) Plate Body high alch (1200+132) Loss per plate - 2067 131,509/37.5 = 3507 Steel bars 702 plates x 2067gp for a grand total of 1,451,034 loss. Superheat mithril bars or do mithril bolts in blast furnace.

GibberEsh
But you're asking simple questions that can easily be calculated from the ge and xp calculators. You're just being lazy.
