I have mining brawlers and a SC pickaxe. Is that x8 xp? I know for a fact I can mine 500 mithril per pickaxe.

SC Tools were believed to make the experience 8x instead of 4x. That, in a way, they do, but instead of taking away 1 use from the brawling glove, it takes away 2 uses of it. This means your brawling glove will disappear 2x faster, but you will still get the same amount of experience pretty much as if you hadn't used the SC tool.

Assuming this is true I would mine 500 mith ores at 320 xp ea and get 160k mining xp?

Pureprayer, you're awesome.

That pretty much said that SC tools are uselss with brawling gloves.(that ruined my thoughts  ) So you should just use your brawing gloves with a rune pick.

Sc items work on exp, so the picaxe would be sued 8x faster than normal, taking 8x less ores. The brawlers will work on ores mined.

So if you use a rune pick, you'l mine say (i don't know the numbers) 500 ores using up the gloves.

With a SC pickaxe, you'd mine 250 ores to use the gloves up, but get the same exp in total, (but go through a lot of pickaxes)
