I've had this happen about 20 times but it's always confused me, I'm buying an item for about mid and leave it for a while but it doesn't buy. I abort the offer later and put in a new offer of a higher amount but it buys instantly at min. Anyone had this happen to them or know why this happens? just curious

Maybe the item was above medium price......?

yes i had an offer above medium and i put a new offer even higher after i aborted the first but i got the item for min instantly after i put up new offer

 

happened twice when i was buying dfs, alot of times with barrows items, just today with guthans helm. am i the only one this is happening to :-#

This happens to me often when I re-enter a purchase. It also happens when I re-list items for sale (they aren't selling, but sell instantly when I re-list at the same price).

Some people may have tried to buy them out, but then when the price raised, some of the investors may have pulled out as they could not take the chance of losing, so they "dump". Just a thought.
