Agility Guide - Barbarian Outpost

Recommended Posts

I was doing agility training at Barbarian Outpost with a friend, was going around the track but noticed he only did the crumbling walls. So I calculated it...and it's approximately the same (if not more) experience to do 4 sets of crumbling walls (or 12 times of hurdling) as doing the entire course, including the lap finish bonus. Furthermore, on comparing the timing of the two, it's about 4 seconds longer to do 4 sets of walls, as compared to doing the entire course. Of course, it's 11 xp more than the entire course, and it's completely safe, so there's no need for food and you'd never get stalled having to climb out of a [bleep]e trap. I think this would be extremely helpful to include in the guide, especially as it would make it a lot easier for people to start using the course right at 35, instead of waiting till 40 to avoid failing dangerous tasks. At least half the credit goes to Darkhobo9, who was the one that was doing the wall circuit first.

I agree this is a faster way to get xp. I remember doing it for a while when I was low level, but I get bored pretty fast.

As much as I'd like to include this info, I sometimes get the feeling that Jagex reads our website and nerfs anything people are enjoying, lol. So ... I think it's up to the individual player to notice the xp for these obstacles and choose how they want to train.

That's my opinion, anyway. Thanks very much for sharing your info though, it's always appreciated!

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
