Waterfiend Help

Hello I am currently intrested in getting 68 Summoning (52 atm) and I wanted to try out Waterfiends for getting Crimson charms. The thing is, I've never been there and I know of various methods but I don't know which ones work the best for me or if some even work at all. Two methods I am currently intrested in are using Guthan's or Void Melee with a crush weapon. Since I don't have 68 Summoning for Bunyip, will either of these methods work for me? If I were to go with either method how would I go about doing it and for the Void method would a Zamorak Spear work best? I am currently tight on cash (only about 3.6M to spend) so I'm guessing the Zamorak Spear would be the only effective weapon to fit my budget. Also what inventory should I bring for either setup.

 

 

 

My current understanding for Guthan method would be just use full Guthan's with spear on crush attack with protect for range prayer?

 

 

 

And for using Void I would have full Melee Void with Zamorak Spear on crush attack while praying protect from range?

 

 

 

I also have 70 prayer so should I use Piety since I don't have Bunyip? Other stats below in sig.

 

 

 

And yes I obviously have full Guthan's and Void Melee and I can buy Zamorak Spear. Thanks!

Use karils with zammy spear. Then with guthans in your inventory, when your about half your hp attack the skeleton warlord with melee pray and you should heal close\to full.

 

 

 

In void you would get hit too much (especially without a bunyip) and in full guthans would just be a waste. I'm sure someone else can help you with an exact inventory, im just saying karils with z spear\ss would be the most efficient.

Guthans is tricky to use, you protect mage cause its melee armor and weak against mage.

 

 

 

Pray range when your hp is low w/ healers.

 

Pray range when hp isn't full w/o healers

 

 

 

Should use pineapple pizzas in your case.

 

 

 

Piety on all the time? No, too costly, guides recommend u do flick it on when hp's at yellow or red.

Since you are tight on cash, I wouldn't advise to use piety. Your 90 attack should do fine. You could perhaps do piety flashing if you really want to.

 

 

 

Now for the armour. Using guthan to heal will slow you down a lot. I would say it's best to do shorter trips with just void (and zammy spear ofcourse). Use ranged prayer, super sets and pineapple pizza's as food. A void spinner is a good option for some extra healing, but I think it's pretty expensive. Also, rapid heal shouldn't be underestimated.
