how to change my Nat Settings.

Featured Replies

lots of lag and limited connectivity to my friends on XBOX LIVE means im quite pissed off.

after testing my connection, my xbox says my NAT settings are strict.

I was wondering how i can change these on my router?. My current setup is my wireless router connected to my laptop, which has an ethernet cable going to my Xbox360.

Wait, is the ethernet from your laptop to the 360 (making a bridge network) or from the router to the 360?

from my computer to my 360, my computer is recieving connection from my router.

I'm afraid you're stuck with a stict NAT through that setup. I ran it a while ago before I got a wireless adapter, and pretty much you're SOL unless you get one or hardwire your 360 to the router.

Sorry.

dang theyre just sooo expensive, and my routers downstairs, so hardwiring i guess isnt an option.

Looks like im saving up.

Thanks Nadril :(

Yeah the wireless solutions for 360 sucks, adapter is so overpriced. :(
