I want to be able to redirect people to a site or file (which is on my ad-hoc network's public folder) whenever they open up a browser while connected to my ad-hoc network.

 

I've seen it done at many internet hotspots, but can you do it with an ad-hoc network?

 

 

 

If possible, I'd also like to know if it would be possible to upload files to the public folder through the browser.

I believe you need to edit your Hosts file to be able to redirect browsers, someone else will tell you how though, I'm not good with it.
