So a week ago I had enough money to finally buy all of the masks, and I was amazed. It would have cost me about 34 million. I remember several years ago when I was playing classic (before rs2), a blue alone went for like 300k! If only I had this much money then haha.

 

 

 

And then I spent all that money on skills instead because masks are impractical.

I don't know if you're really an idiot, so I won't make any assumptions...but if you aren't, then you sure do a good impression of one. :roll:

 

 

 

The reason rares are dropping is, y'see, the Grand Exchange bases its prices on actual transactions that occur. Before the Grand Exchange, players decided what they wanted to sell for, and the assumption was that rares would rise over time. So they would buy and sell them at prices that gradually increased over time.

 

 

 

With the Grand Exchange, in order for the price to go up, players couldn't just arbitrarily decide to sell for more, because the price is set. In order for the price to go up, the item has to actually be traded at a higher price. And as it turned out, the prices people were really willing to sell them at were a lot lower than buyers thought they were before the GE. So they ended up being sold at lower prices instead of higher ones.

 

 

 

The demand for rares has always been pretty dry, and now it's drying up faster than the supply, especially with the introduction of newer, more useful high-end items like godswords and spirit shields.

well ive seen all the masks are going up atm so lets hope they will keep raising(at least like 1-2m :thumbsup: )
