Ways to gain extra exp while powermining granite?

So, im seeing on loads of videos people who can make up to 60k mining exp an hour while powermining granite (with no items that effect exp/ not mining 2 ores at once) Now at the moment i only get around 30k exp/hour so if anyone can explain exactly how there getting 60k exp an hour that would be great.

Probaly the same as some of the fishing XP claims, I have seen 60k - 70k an hour claimed at the old method Barbarian fishing, and people who say thay get 37k - 40k an hour at monkfish. I was never that slow at fish and cut at Barabrian and could not get anywhere near the figures claimed. I have fished hard at monkfish and if I get 30k - 34k an hour I'm lucky. All people say about my fishing XP is that I must be slower and they can get 37k at monks without really trying.

 

 

 

I think people are either stretching the truth to get a name for themselves or they hit the screen real hard for an hour for high XP but could not keep it up over time.

 

 

 

Claims made of XP gained can never be proved unless you actually sit with the person. Written claims cannot be proved nor can screen shots tell the truth, Photoshop etc, vids can also be fiddled.

A familiar really helps too. I was mining yesterday, used 5 sc picks in 58 minutes, that got me 78k xp. That would be 40.3k xp/hour, and I was on a relatively quiet world just mining the 3 granite rocks next to each other in the north part of the mine, because the spot posted earlier in this thread was already taken. I was using a lava titan which gives a +10 (invisible) mining bonus, and using mouse keys to drop (which I really recommend).

 

Using the spot posted earlier you would get even higher xp, and your mining level would help too.
