I'm trying to get my magic level to 82 on my pker. It's currently level 71 and I am air orbing for exp. I've got a few questions in regards to exp:

 

 

 

1. Is there a faster/profitable method?

 

2. Should I wait till 75 and kill metal drags?

 

3. Is there a good bursting spot besides rock lobs? (I don't need to charms because I don't plan on summoning)

Try using some Sc mage helms and bolting metals already, it should be good exp and you should break even.

I would stick to charging orbs, just because you don't lose money off it. And using SC as mentioned above will help plenty.

Even while orbing?

Take about 8-10 sc mage hats for a trip. A wc axe, teleport, 1k gp (boat and cave entry fees) Some high alch runes, as many fire bolt runes as you can buy. The best magic attack armour, and an antifire shield.

 

 

 

Then fill up the rest of your inventory bar 6 spaces (one for bones and picked up items to alch, the rest for the 4 charms) with antifire potions.

SC robes give bonuses with any magic spell.

I thought it was with combat sells only, or am i thinking magic brawling gloves #-o

 

 

 

Anyway, don't forget double hp exp if you use combat spells too.
