Demoris
I suggest putting more time and effort into pixel work. By going for speed, you do not produce quality pixe work.
sragral
Nevermind, that was mean. Keep trying.
Peter
What Demoris said is completely true. It seems you are concentrating way too much on getting it done quickly. If you look at sigs from a really good pixel artist (Lan_Hikari), you will see how much detail there is. I'd guess he spends towards two or three hours, not ten minutes. If nothing else, try to spice up what you've got. Add stress cracks to the staff, maybe try a glow or something around it. It would look a lot more realistic if it wasn't a square piece of wood, maybe make it gnarled or something, like it is a stick that they did something to. Those are all things to consider when doing these. Hope you get better at it. Try spending a lot of time on your next. Oh, and don't save it as .BMP. Try .PNG if you have problems, otherwise .JPG is the best for this purpose.
