99 FM?

Featured Replies

I currently have 70 firemaking and I have some money to "burn" so I was thinking of going for 99.

So my questions are...

What type of logs should I use?

Where's a good spot to burn them?

What time do you think it would take roughly? Thanks in advance. :twss:

If the police arrest a mime do they tell him he has the right to remain silent?

Maples are most cost efficient. Location isn't too big a deal, some places to name are G.E. (laggy sometimes though), Varrock, and Edgevill (My fav :))

Good luck, you will need it, and a lot of patience as well...

I guess that answers my questions.

=]

I used mostly Euca logs all the way to 99, and used the varrock teleport tab method.

Prices have changed now, so I'm not sure if Euca logs are still best, but your next bet would be maple logs I guess...

Good luck. =)

urmmm.....

other than the varrock tele tab method, the most efficient way of training firemaking is the 4 step back and forward method.

basically, the idea is to avoid having to bend over and light the fire, which takes longer than simply walking west one space and the fire appearing underneath your feet.

you have to light 4 fires, then quickly run to one space, south of your first fire, and light 4 more fires and repeat.

the trick to is that you can move a maximum of 4 tiles before you need to bend over again. you can also use this method to be less than 4 spaces away from a bank at all times.

good luck.

Maples are most cost efficient.

Not true. For MOST people, it's the most efficient log based off cost v. income.

If you disregard income, the best xp/gp are oaks or willows.

If you disregard most efficient the best are magic logs.

But for most people it's maples, however if you make above-average money, yews or eucs (depending on price) are better. Magics if you have brawling gloves.

I've heard ooglog is good. good luck btw :twss:
