Ghosts Ahoy quest

Recommended Posts

Hi,

In the Ghosts Ahoy quest guide you'll see in step 9 that you will need to make this old woman a nettle tea. After you've gotten the nettle in the bowl of water, you will need to heat it up. As I've read on the database you can also heat this up by using it on a fire. Now isn't it a good idea to add logs & tinderbox to the suggested items for the quest? It will save you the time of walking all the way back to ghost city just to heat it up.

Greets,

Rod

[Crew edit: formerly a bowl of water could not be heated on a fire. If someone can test this to confirm that would be great.]

I did the quest on my old account (about 2 years ago) and you could use the bowl of water on a fire.

This is how I did that part of the quest.

I recently did this queston my current account and you can still heat it using a standard fire.

ok the guide already says under Suggested:

"You might also want to bring a tinderbox and some wood to make a fire to boil the nettle water if you don't want to walk to Port Phasmatys to use the range."

At the time of this post, the quest guide was last updated 6 March 2009, so you might have just overlooked it.

Thanks though for wanting to help, and thanks especially Joe for confirming.

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
