P=points restored per dose

T=Total prayer potions you plan on taking

D=Doses per pot



If (P*D)*T<=(((P+1)*D)*(T-1)) then use the wrench.

 

 

 

In this situation its not worth it. Its only worth taking if you use a lot of prayer pots.

 

 

 

And simplifying that equation gives this:

 

 

 

P+1<=T

 

 

 

Then using the formula P=(L/4)+7 (L is your prayer level, P is the points restored), plug it in:

 

 

 

(L/4)+8<=T

 

 

 

If you can carry T or more prayer potions (use the above formula), then it's worth it. At Barrows, that will never happen, so it's pointless to use the Holy Wrench.
