slight problem

Ok, I have been thinking for the past two days about getting a 99, F2P btw, and im stuck between Cooking and Firemaking. My Cooking lvl is 71 but the problem is im gunna need an extra roughly 20m i think(haven't done the math) for 101k lobbies.I only have 5.3m if it matters.

 

 

 

My Firemaking skill is lvl 65 but it will only cost me around 3.5m for 93k maple logs.

 

 

 

My questions are:

 

1.If I went with cooking, if I bought and then sold the lobbies how much money would I need that way then jsut cooknig them?

 

2.Are maples good enough xp til 99 or should I go with something else?

101k Raw Lobs x 281= 28,381,000

 

101k Cooked Lobs x 215= 21,715,000

 

 

 

So you lose 6,666,000 gp. Thats if you need exactly 101k lobsters and you don't burn any. These are at the mid-prices as of today.

 

 

 

2. Maples are good enough and cheap. Since it'll only be 3.5m it'll be cheaper to get 99 then getting the lobsters for cooking.

 

 

 

I would suggest to get Firemaking since its cheaper.

 

If i had you rs name with your stats i could get you a more accurate number.

I asked a guy with 99 fm hour ago and he said from 85 and below go with willows then 85 above go with maples. I think im gunna go with willows til 70 then maples.

31,140 willows logs @ 18 gp each = 560,520 gp

 

 

 

From 85 to 99 will be:

 

 

 

72,118 maple logs @ 36 gp each = 2,596,248 gp

 

 

 

The total loss is 3,156,768.

 

 

 

Going straight to 99 from your current level with maples is 3,354,264.

 

Difference of 197,496 gp.

 

 

 

So in the 197k gp you save from doing willows, it may take you a little longer to get 99.

that 200k difference is not all that bad but the time thing..I can't play long periods of time so, I should just go for the maples.200k can't be that hard to get back.. :?

Just put your offer in the exchange and let it sit. You will get them all eventually, doesn't really matter what world you are in. It's going to take you a while to burn them all anyways. Good luck and have fun doing it:^_^:

Try buying off the Grand Exchange, thats where i got all my prices at and they were all at the mid price though.
