I'm level 119, with 99 attack, 91 strength, and 87 defense. After getting 90 defense, I want to start working on 99 strength, primarily through slayer, and want to know what weapon is best for that. I just came back to playing after nearly 2 years of inactivity, so I'm a little rusty on the new weapons. I don't want to use Dharoks, and can afford any weapon but a godsword. So... is d scimmy still the way to go, or is there something better I can buy?

any time i train stregth i use a saradomin sword, it's about 7.4 mil, but if you do plan to train through slayer you might get a few tasks where you need a special sheild so keep a d scim on hand just incase
