Phone to Computer Issue

Featured Replies

Okay, so for the past week I've been wanting to add a wallpaper to my Mobile Via the program/Cable to my computer but it keeps saying its a malfuntioned device even though it worked perfectly the week before that. my computer hasn't got Bluetooth (Its 8yrs old now) so I can't send it. What steps should I do: Re-install, Use a friends phone or Simply throw the computer away for annoying me for 5 years of its faulty life (ignore munber 3, i haven't got the funds for a new one).

Sounds like an exact problem this girl on my bus was talking about, lol. No kidding...

Sorry I can't help, but since you said the comp is older, it might just be that...

I had a problem similar to this, I contacted Motorola support and they weren't much help. I eventually just bought a USB Bluetooth hub and it worked fine. It only cost me about £7 from Argos :). Just make sure that if you buy it supports your OS, especially if you're using Windows 98/2000.

Have you tried another USB port from a different hub? For example, if your PC has front and back USB ports, try the other one. Occasionally you can develop a power problem on one hub that doesn't exist on the other.

Also, which carrier are you using, and can you send MMS messages? As an example, I use Verizon. Anything I want on my phone can be sent to [email protected]. Your carrier may have a similar feature.
