Sound Not Working

Featured Replies

I was just listening to some music when my sound stopped working. Actually it was about 10 seconds after I plugged in my headphones into the computer.

I got a message saying SurMixer[Caution: ExecutableFile] needed to close. Then when I try to open it up again I get this message:

"The instruction at "0x00ff9e5b" referenced memory at "0x00000008" the memory could not be read."

So if anyone knows how to solve this problem or can point me in the right direction, it would be very appreciated.

Sound card driver seems to have corrupted. Try reinstalling it.

No problem, have you installed anything recently related to audio which may have caused the error?
