Nuh uh, it's an instrument (I guess you could call it that). Well, actually I guess it would be a recorder and synthesizer. But you see those red things at the bottom of the screen during the video? Those are Kaos Pads. Every sound made in that video started from his mouth and went to those.

So, the guy records the sound and the "Kaos Pads" play it back.

 

 

 

Do they amplify it, make the sound cleaner ?

 

 

 

 

 

That's cool. Kinda' cheating though - like mixing beatboxing and DJ'ing.
